Aleodor Andea, MD: Secretary/Treasurer for the International Society of Dermatopathology. The International Society of Dermatopathology aims to increase knowledge of the structure and function of the skin and diseases of the skin through the use of microscopy.
Anuska Andjeklovic-Zochowski, MD, PhD: Awarded Dr. Julien Hoff award at the 8th World Intracranial Hemorrhage Conference.
Ulysses Balis, MD: Dr. Balis will speak at the University of Pittsburgh as this year's Maude Menten Lecturer.
Noah Brown, MD: Elected Chair of MGP Program for the Association of Molecular Pathology.
May Chan, MD: Honored with Dr. Terry O'Grady Lectureship at University of California San Diego.
Arul Chinnaiyan, MD, PhD: Awarded this year's Lurie Cancer Center, Chung Lee Lectureship at Northwestern University. This lecture pays tribute to Chung Lee, PhD, professor emeritus in the Department of Urology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Kathleen Cho, MD: Appointed Vice Chair, Membership Committee (Section 4) for the National Academy of Medicine. NAM’s mission is to “improve health for all by advancing science, accelerating health equity, and providing independent, authoritative, and trusted advice nationally and globally.”
Julia Dahl, MD: Slected as the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine/Executive Leadership in Healthcare fellow at Drexel University.
Laura Cooling, MD: Recently published a new book, "Stem Cell Collection, Infusion and Transfusion Support: A Primer".
Victor Elner, MD, PhD: Honored with the Richard K. Dortzbach Lecture and Teaching Awards from the North American Society of Academic Orbital Surgery and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Paul Lephart, PhD: Completed the Michigan Medicine Leadership Academy which focuses on the development of Michigan Medicine campus leaders.
Sean Li, MD, PhD: Appointed new Section Director for Transfusion Medicine (Interim).
Rohit Mehra, MD: Presented with the 2023 Society of American Asian Scientists in Cancer Research (SAASCR) Cancer Research Award. This award is given to scientists of Asian origin who have made significant contributions to the field of cancer research.
Rajesh Rao, MD: Selected to the A. Alfred Taubman Research Institute Executive Committee, and honored with the "Valuing Our Own" Discretionary Award from the University of Michigan Medical School.
Allecia Wilson, MD: Early Distinguished Career Award from the Michigan Medicine Alumni Society.
Chen Yang, PhD: Completed the Michigan Medicine Ledadership Academy which focuses on the development of Michigan Medicine campus leaders.
