Immunohistochemistry

The Immunohistochemistry Laboratory

We offer over 300 immunohistochemical stains for diagnostic use. Among these are important predictive markers such as ER, PR, HER2, PD-L1 (22C3/SP142), and mismatch repair proteins (MSH2, MSH6, MLH1, PMS2). A number of chromogenic in-situ hybridization probes such as EBER, high- and low-risk HPV, and SARS-CoV-2 are also available. In addition, the Laboratory performs direct immunofluorescence on skin and kidney biopsies, and histochemistry on fresh/frozen skeletal muscles. Over 125,000 tests are performed annually on paraffin-embedded, frozen, and cytology specimens. Additional information on the immunohistochemical stains provided by the Laboratory can be found in the list below.
