Each July, a new class of house officers, fellows, and clinical instructors arrive at Michigan Medicine’s Department of Pathology and each June we congratulate those who are graduating. Some will remain at Michigan Medicine in fellowship or faculty positions while others will move on to new opportunities. This year’s graduating class is made up of seven residents, eight fellows and ten clinical instructors. Dr. Charles Parkos, Chair of Pathology, praised this year's graduating class, "I am proud of this class of clinical graduates! Their contributions to patient care made a huge difference in the face of the COVID pandemic.
