Benefits and Salaries
House officers at the University of Michigan Health System (UMHS) are organized and the University of Michigan House Officers Association is authorized by the State of Michigan to negotiate contracts with the UMHS. Information regarding salaries and benefits (including life, dental and disability insurance, vacation and holiday pay, etc.) are detailed in the current contract. This information is available on the House Office Association website and through the University of Michigan Office of Staff Benefits.
