Pediatric Pathology Fellowship

Next Opening 2026-2027 

This fellowship offers exciting and comprehensive training in pediatric surgical, autopsy and clinical pathology, preparing fellows to practice general pediatric pathology in academic or community setting. Over 5,000 pediatric surgical pathology specimens, 212 perinatal and pediatric autopsies and fetal examinations are performed yearly. Additional outside pediatric surgical and autopsy pathology consultations are also available for training. The fellowship is based at the University of Michigan Health System (UMHS), including our C.S. Mott Children's and Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital.

Requirements:
A minimum of two years of training in anatomic pathology, in an accredited pathology residency program, is required.  Applicants must be US citizens, legal permanent residents (green card holders) or J1 visa holders.

Stipends:
Commensurate with the level of postgraduate training.
