Director of Communications and Senior Writer
Lynn leads the Communications Team for the Department of Pathology and reports to the Assistant Chair of Education/Director of Training and Communications. She writes, edits and approves news articles, Facebook posts, and other internal and external departmental communications. In addition, she reviews and edits manuscripts, grant applications, special reports, poster presentations, and other documents for the department and produces the annual report and magazine. Lynn has been with the Department of Pathology since January 2003 and head of the Communications Team since June 2018.
Personally, Lynn’s hobbies include showing and breeding Lakeland Terriers, baking and making jams/jellies and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She is also pursuing a doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University.
Communications Specialist
Anastazia is a dynamic Communications Specialist with expertise in social media management, photography, videography, podcast hosting, and writing. She plays a key role in shaping the storytelling efforts, contributing to the Inside Pathology magazine and the department’s annual report.
With expereince in public relations, social media, marketing, and business, Anastazia has been a leader, bringing creativity and strategy to her work. She enjoys the opportunity for collaboration with faculty, staff, and trainees within the department to craft engaging content that highlights groundbreaking pathology research, advancements and more.
Beyond her professional life, Anastazia is a dedicated hockey coach for two nationally ranked girls’ teams. She is also an avid cook and reader who enjoys the outdoors and a great cup of coffee.
Graphic Design/Web Development
Having been with the Department of Pathology since 2010, Brent serves as a graphic designer, UI and UX developer, and marketer with the pathology informatics division. He’s also a liaison for Communications where he collaborates on the Inside Pathology magazine, the department’s social media, and department conferences.
Born and raised in Toledo, OH, he does not allow his Ohio roots to interfere with his Michigan responsibilities. Brent also has deep interests in science, art, pop culture, and religious studies.
