10th Annual CHAMP Research Day Registration Now Open

The 10th annual CHAMP Research Day will be held on Thursday, February 7th, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Research Auditorium located in building 10 of the North Campus Research Complex. The event will feature presentations by Department of Pathology trainees and faculty in clinical pathology, hematopathology, anatomic pathology, and molecular pathology.

The 2019 Giesen Lecture awardee, Dr. Eman Abdulfatah, will kick off the event with her talk, “Integrative Molecular Profiling of Prostatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma Reveals a Distinct Molecular Spectrum, including Frequent Activating PI3K/AKT and WNT Pathway Alterations.” Attendees will enjoy a poster session and dinner, identify opportunities for collaborative research, and have the opportunity to earn one hour of CME by attending the keynote, given by Dr. John Aster. Aster, a professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School and an associate pathologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, will present, “Notch Signaling in Cancer: Basic and Translational Insights.”
