Congratulations to Finance and Administration’s, John Harris and the Michigan Center for Translational Pathology’s Dianna Banka. John and Dianna both recently passed the Certified Research Administrator Examination becoming Certified Research Administrators (CRA).  They are the first in the Department of Pathology to earn this certification, joining a select few across the University of Michigan who hold this designation.

The private, non-profit, Research Administrators Certification Council develops, operates, and sponsors the Certified Research Administrator program. The Council bestows the designation of Certified Research Administrator (CRA) to those who meet its minimum education and experience requirements, agree to a code of ethics and demonstrate knowledge of the Council’s Body of Knowledge through the exam. Certification is valid for a period of five years.
