Allecia Wilson, MD Named President of the Michigan Association of Medical Examiners

Assistant Professor of Forensic Pathology and Director of the Residency Training Program, Allecia Wilson, MD has been named President of the Michigan Association of Medical Examiners (MAME) for 2017. MAME's mission is to foster the highest professional standards in the performance of the duties of the county medical examiners of Michigan. To carry out its mission, MAME provides information about the medical examiners to a variety of stakeholders, including county and state administrators, legislators, and the general public. The association provides a forum for discussing professional and managerial issues, holds scientific meetings, and produces educational materials.

Dr. Wilson has been a member of MAME since 2005, serving on the Executive Board since 2014. She was MAME's Hendrix Travel Award Chair from 2015 - 2016, a CME co-chair in 2016, and the Editor of the Newsletter from 2016 - 2017.
