On September 25th, Pathology faculty, staff, trainees and their families gathered at Wiard’s Orchard in Milan, Michigan for the annual Pathology Appreciation Fall Picnic. While the weather was overcast, it was a pleasant fall day in the lower 60’s – just right for a day of fun activities!
The event, organized by Yvonne Beadle and her team of superstars, began with registration and a delicious picnic lunch served by the Wiard’s Orchard staff. Following lunch, the fun began! Hayrides, pumpkin picking, corn maze, petting zoo, miniature golf, a target shoot, and so much more. Laughter rang out, children squealed and giggled, farm animals enjoyed numerous snacks and Pathology colleagues shared time together in a relaxed atmosphere outside the pressures of patient care, research and education.
A gallery of photos taken by our own staff highlighting their favorite memories can be viewed below. If you missed this year’s picnic, you missed a great time. We hope to see you there next year!
