Detroit's Daily Docket Returns for Season 2

Detroit Daily DocketThe Detroit's Daily Docket (D3), a podcast produced by Michigan Medicine forensic pathologists at the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office (WCMEO), launched its initial season in 2020. This successful podcast series is now gearing up to launch Season 2 on February 26, 2021.

Season 2 will be made up of 8 1-hour and 1 half-hour long episodes that will drop every other Friday. This season’s docket includes topics such as death certification, medicolegal systems throughout the United States, COVID update, estimating the time of death and postmortem changes, blunt force trauma, motor vehicle accidents, and sharp force injuries. In addition, there will a round-table discussion on manner-of-death scenarios and two listener-driven podcast. Listeners will be asked to submit their favorite portrayals of medical examiners in the media and how they think they can get away with murder on which our medical examiners will weigh in. In Season 2, you will be introduced to more of the people who make up the WCMEO team, as we highlight their vital work. You will also hear interviews of medical examiners from around the country to learn about their unique practices.
