Tomasz Cierpicki Awarded NIH Research Project Grant

Tomasz Cierpicki, PhD, has been awarded an R01 with five years of funding from the National Cancer Institute for his grant application, Targeting NSD1 In Leukemia, to develop inhibitors of NSD1 histone methyltransferase in pediatric acute myeloid leukemia patients.

Cierpicki’s co-investigators for this project are Andrew White, PhD, in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Rajen Mody, MD, MBBS, of the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and Jolanta Grembecka, PhD, and Andrew Muntean, PhD, of the Department of Pathology.
