Friday Walks with the Chair's Suite

Join Jeff Myers as he hosts the inaugural Friday Walks with the Chair’s Suite event!  Anyone interested in a leisurely one-mile walk (20-25 minutes) can join us OUTSIDE the SOUTH entrance/exit of building 36 (see attached walk map).  The goal is to spend time together in an outdoor activity that will allow for conversation about whatever you want to talk about.  This event is open to all members of the department including staff, trainees, students, visitors and faculty.

Depending on the response, these walks will continue as nearly as once-a-week as calendars will allow.  Friday walks will be hosted by members of the Chair’s Suite including,

  • Charles (“Chuck”) Parkos, Department Chair,
  • Kathy Cho, Vice Chair for Faculty Affairs,
  • Jeffrey Myers, Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Quality, and
  • Marty Lawlor, Director of Finance and Administration.

Walks will continue throughout the year, weather permitting.  Rain, sleet or snow will be sufficient to cancel these events . . . let the US Postal service proceed as it sees fit.

Wear comfortable shoes and the group will depart at noon – no waiting for stragglers.  The first walk will be hosted by Jeff Myers – this is your opportunity to share your own reflections, comments, suggestions, concerns or celebrations.
