2022 UM Data Science and AI Summit

- Research vision talks. We especially welcome faculty researchers to submit an abstractby 9/23.
- Showcase of U-M data science and AI research organizations. 8 units will give brief presentations about who they are and how they work with researchers.

- E-Health and Artificial Intelligence
- Michigan AI Lab
- Michigan Institute for Computational Discovery and Engineering
- University of Michigan Precision Health
- Lots of networking time with U-M researchers and those from external organizations.
- Propelling Original Data Science (PODS) pilot grant awardees showcase.
- Also, at the Summit, we will kick off a new, campus-wide, major research training program.
- We also offer poster sessions and awards for students, and students can submit abstractsby 9/23.
We also have two amazing keynote speakers:
Suzanne R. Bakken, Editor-in-Chief, Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association; Professor of Biomedical Informatics and Alumni Professor of the School of Nursing, Columbia University
David Shor, Head of Data Science, OpenLabs R&. He is a high-profile political data analyst covered repeatedly by the New York Times (for example, see this article). He gave a talk two years ago at MIDAS and was a real sensation. So we are inviting him back for "round 2".
